The Athens State University Foundation, in conjunction with the University Alumni Association, will be hosting a Scholarship Reception and Alumni Awards ceremony on April 6, 2019 in Carter Gymnasium. The Alumni Association is currently seeking nominations for the following awards:
- Distinguished Alumni Award
- Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award in
- Arts and Sciences
- Business
- Education
- Alumni Loyalty Award
- Outstanding Recent Graduate Award
- Deweese and Jim Beasley Appreciation Award
- Dr. Angeline Nazaretian Distinguished Service Award
The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 15, 2019.
This annual awards ceremony allows the University to recognize outstanding alumni and community members for their service to the University, Alumni Association, and/or community while bringing together donors and their scholarship recipients.
