The public is invited to attend Athens State University’s annual Arbor Day Festival! This event is completely free and will offer fun for the whole family, including:
- Inflatable Attractions for Kids
- Historic Tree Tours on Athens State’s Campus
- Arts and Crafts
- Face Painting
- Free Food
In the event of rain, the festival will take place on Saturday, April 20.
With a campus that is home to over 40 historic trees, Athens State seeks to honor the beauty and historic charm they lend to the campus and surrounding community. The Historic Tree Project will help maintain and celebrate the campus’s historic living collection of trees and encourage the University community to carry its natural legacy into the future.
